DESCRIPTION:Basant Panchmi is celebrated on the fifth day (Panchami Tithi) of the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha) of the Hindu month Magh. From this day\, Vasant Ritu (the spring season) begins in India. Saraswati Puja is also performed on this day.
